Documentary Wedding in Val Parma
Ilaria and Luca’s wedding at Il Salice, in Val Parma, had a completely different energy from a quiet, intimate celebration. From the beginning, family and friends were an essential part of the day — not simply as guests, but as people deeply involved in everything that was happening.
There was a strong emotional quality throughout the celebration, visible in the embraces, expressions and small interactions between the people closest to them. It was one of those weddings where photographing the day meant paying attention not only to the couple, but to everything happening around them.
As the evening progressed, that emotion gradually gave way to a completely different atmosphere. The celebration became louder, spontaneous and full of energy, ending with a lively party that felt like the natural conclusion to the day.
For us, this is what documentary wedding photography is ultimately about: allowing every wedding to have its own rhythm and character, without trying to make it look like something it wasn't.
